Jacob showed me this and I thought I'd post it here because it seems like it would be helpful to, really, anybody who wants to do anything.
Also, I did want to mention that I don't really know when I'll be posting again here for awhile. Jacob and I are canceling the internet in the middle of August because it's just too expensive. We'll still have access to it from the apartment office, but I can't scan in pictures there. |

| Fundamentals Of Photography |

Okay, so my summer class is almost over. It was a lot of work, but it was actually really fun to learn all this stuff I never even knew about before. Wanna see some of my photos? Of course you do.
I don't really feel like explaining the photos in great detail right now because I'm really tired. But, there they are. Personally, my favorite one is the first one. It's the one that means the most to me. |

| Life Drawing |

Okay. After a long time (like, three months...), I'm finally going to post something new. Yay! I've been taking life drawing classes at a school down the road, and I think it's really been helpful. Anyway, I scanned in some things. I wish I had a bigger scanner, though. Do they even make big scanners?
I really like this model. It's the same lady in all three pictures, and, actually, I drew her in my drawing class at school, too. I like her best of the people I've drawn so far. Also, I've drawn her the most, which may be why I like her best. I've gotten to know her best, I guess.
I'm taking a photography class for the summer semester. It's fun and interesting and all, but it's a lot of work crammed into a very short amount of time. Plus, it's a bit expensive. Jacob and I are both drained from it. |

| Sketchbook Surprises |

I usually don't post pictures from my sketchbooks until I finish them, but this picture turned out really nice, and I wanted to share it today.
I used lots of things. Let me see...
Pencil, Watercolor, Acrylic, and the pen Jared bought me for Christmas.
I'm thinking about buying more watercolors. I had never used them before, but I really like them. They're a lot thicker when you buy them in tubes, I think. A lot thicker than I thought they'd be, anyway. |

Here are two more Trollz. There are still two left, but I'm kinda getting distracted by other things right now. So I will still do them, but I don't know when. If you're interested in this stuff, the Trollz website is here: [link].
If the pictures seem a little dark, it's because I had to use my camera. My scanner doesn't seem to like colored pencil sometimes, and the pictures looked really weird scanned. I also do have a video file of me drawing Ruby (the red one). If you're interested in seeing it, let me know and I'll try to upload it or something. The main reason I made it was for Jacob, since he never gets to see me draw. I don't really know how to make videos so it's actually kinda boring. Hehe. But if people want to see it, I can upload it.
I feel bad that all I've been doing lately is fanart. And not even good fanart, either. Just boring old draw-what-you-see stuff. But it makes me happy, so that's why I keep doing it. Even though it also makes me feel bad because lots of people look down on people who do that. I guess you just can't win with some people. It's not like I'm passing them off as my own characters. But whatever. I like drawing them, so I guess I'll just keep doing it until I'm able to come up with my own stuff too. : ) |
